Services we provide
Our physiotherapy team of hospital and community based therapists can assess, diagnose, treat, report and advise on how you can maximise your physical function and independence.
We provide services in different settings as well as education and advice about healthy lifestyles and how to limit injury.
We work with you and your whānau to set treatment goals. You are encouraged to take part in planning your treatment and being active throughout the process.
Our inpatient, outpatient clinic and community physiotherapy teams work Monday to Friday, 8am and 4:30pm with a limited weekend service available.
If you think physiotherapy might be beneficial for you, talk to your healthcare provider.
Referral information
Your healthcare provider can refer you to the physiotherapy department — referrals are then prioritised by a senior physiotherapist. We will contact you by phone or letter once we can offer an appointment.
There is a wait time of some weeks between accepting your referral and when the therapist contacts you, if the referral is classed non-urgent.
