If you or your whānau are unwell, there are different ways you can get support.

Call 111 if it is an emergency

A medical emergency includes:

  • chest pain or tightness
  • difficulty breathing
  • choking
  • severe bleeding or bleeding that will not stop
  • sudden weakness
  • difficulty talking, fainting, or unconsciousness.

If you need free health advice from professional healthcare providers you can call Heathline for free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Vaccine advice

For advice about vaccines, cal the Vaccination Healthline, 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.

Support for the Disability community

Call the Disability Helpline on 0800 11 12 13 or text 8988.

A person with experience or knowledge of disability will answer your call 8am to 8pm. After 8pm, calls are answered by a trained member of the Healthline team.
