Services we provide
Health New Zealand |Te Whatu Ora South Canterbury provides a comprehensive rheumatology service including:
- diagnosis and treatment
- twice-weekly rheumatology clinics at Timaru Hospital
- education classes for new rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis patients.
Our primary healthcare team also provides a bone density (DEXA) scanning services to diagnose and treat patients with osteoporosis — this service is based at 23 Dee Street, Timaru.
