The Sexual Health Service provides free and confidential advice for anyone concerned or wanting advice around their Sexual Health. Our clinic runs 2 evenings a week at Timaru Hospital.

Services we provide
The Sexual Health Service provides:
- sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment
- contraception
- pregnancy testing
- advice and support on sexual health related topics
- treatment of herpes and warts using liquid nitrogen
- contact tracing
- referral to specialist care.
Our clinic is in the outpatients department.
- Clinic hours are Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5pm to 7pm.
- Appointments are preferred.
- Drop-ins are accepted but you may have to wait.

You can be referred to our service by your general practitioner or other healthcare providers. You can also refer yourself to make an appointment.
