Our contraception clinics offer free and confidential services including contraception counselling, contraception options, pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted infection (STI) and cervical screening for women in Auckland. Clinics are available at multiple locations.

Services
We will talk with you about your options and help you decide the best contraceptive for you. Services include:
- contraception counselling - we can help you explore and start you on the best option for your contraception
- Jadelle insertion and removal - these are soft rod-like implants which are inserted under the skin on your arm
- IUCD insertion - these are devices that are put into your uterus. We offer Mirena, Jaydess and Copper IUD
- oral and depo provera contraception - we can offer the first dose of pills or injection if this is what you decide
pregnancy testing - STI screening
- cervical screening
All contraceptives and services are free for women who are New Zealand citizens or residents and live within the Auckland area.
Services are confidential and free for women in the Auckland or Waitemata areas, aged between 15 and 45 who are eligible for public health care, and have a community services card or:
- are Māori or Pacifica
- have low or no income,
- are at risk of poor outcomes from an unplanned pregnancy.
