The abortion service at Epsom Day Unit offers confidential counselling and termination if you live in the Auckland area. You are able to self-refer or ask your healthcare provider to refer you.

Services we provide
All our services are confidential.
Counselling
We offer counselling to help you decide about your unplanned pregnancy. We also offer counselling after you have had your termination.
Termination
First trimester termination
A first trimester termination is carried out before you are 13 weeks and 2 days into your pregnancy.
Contact us by phone or email to make an appointment.
Second trimester termination
If you are 13 or more weeks pregnant, you will be referred to your local hospital for assessment.
Information to bring with you
If you were born in New Zealand, you will need to bring:
- your passport or birth certificate
- photo ID, like a driver's licence or student ID.
If you were not born in New Zealand, you will need to bring your passport to prove residency or citizenship.
Interpreter services
We provide free interpreter services. If you need an interpreter, let the Epsom Day Unit scheduler know when you make your appointment. Your whānau or friends cannot act as an interpreter for you.
