Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking visionary clinical leaders to help shape the future of Māori health.

At the heart of this transformation is the appointment of a Hauora Māori Chief Medical Officer — a national leadership role with the power to influence system-wide change and uplift communities through culturally anchored, clinically excellent care.

This is more than a job — it’s a calling to lead with purpose, honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and embed Māori models of care across the health system.

About the role
