About Reefton Health Centre

Reefton Health is an integrated family health service that sees people for planned appointments, responds to people with unplanned needs, stabilises acute care patients prior to transferring to another facility, sees people for outpatient appointments and provides a wide range of community-based services.

After hours rural primary care service

Ka Ora Telecare provides free health advice and treatment on weeknights (5pm to 8am) and 24 hours a day on weekends and public holidays.

The Ka Ora team will refer you to the in-person service available in your area if you need it.

Booking an appointment

You can book an appointment by calling or visiting the practice. 

GP appointments are available Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Nurse appointments are available every day.

There are also walk-in clinics available during work hours.

*The clinic closes for lunch between 12:30pm and 2pm.

If you do not have a car

If you do not have a car or other transport and it is too far to walk to Reefton Health, our district nurses may be able to visit you at home.
