Assault and abuse

As well as physical assault, abuse includes sexual violence, emotional abuse and controlling behaviour. Abuse can happen to anyone regardless of their gender, age, race or religion.

Child abuse and neglect

Abuse and neglect need to be treated seriously because the effects can be very harmful and may last a lifetime.

Elder abuse and neglect

Elder abuse is when an older person experiences harm or distress. Harm can happen in different ways.
