Health New Zealand | Te Whatu ora Waikato funds over 13 antenatal classes run by qualified childbirth educators — these classes are free to people living in the Waikato area. There are also antenatal classes in Waikato which may charge for attendance.

Waikato Hospital provides information sessions about pain relief in labour. These are delivered by a Specialist Anaesthetist virtually over Zoom, and are held every 3 months.

Hapū Wānanga ki Tainui is a kaupapa Māori pregnancy education service for all pregnant people in the Waikato area.

Janm Aur Parvarish provides online antenatal classes for pregnant Indian women in the Waikato area. These are facilitated by Te Rito Ora, a Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau service.
