Senior doctors and dentists at Health NZ public hospitals and health services plan to strike for 48 hours on Tuesday 23 September and Wednesday 24 September. Emergency departments will be open for emergencies only. GPs, after-hours and urgent care clinics, and other community health providers are not affected by the strike and will continue to operate as normal.

Where to find us
The Children's Health Hub is co-located at the Rotorua Library at 1127 Haupapa Street.
The service is available from 9am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The services we provide at the Rotorua Children's Health Hub include:
- public health nurses
- B4 School Checks
- skin clinic
- ear nurse specialist
- child development team
- vision and hearing screening, including for newborns
- lactation consultants
- infant, child and adolescent mental health services (ICAMHS)
- rheumatic fever clinic
- outreach immunisations
- paediatric outpatient clinics
- drop-in child vaccinations.
Referral information
Most tamariki and rangatahi visiting the hub will be referred by other health professionals or agencies.
