Services we provide

You will need to allow 30 minutes for the appointment.

Our services include:

  • ear examination under microscope
  • assessment of glue ear (otitis media) and fluid coming from ears
  • wax removal, which may include suctioning
  • removal of foreign bodies
  • providing education and information
  • monitoring ear conditions
  • further referrals to a GP, audiologist, or ear nose and throat specialist if required.

Blowing your nose and keeping it clear of mucus (snot) will help prevent ear infections and glue ear.

When you have mucus in your nose — use a tissue. Blow several times to clear as much mucus as possible. Do this throughout the day:

  • when you get up in the morning
  • before you go to school or daycare
  • while you are at school
  • when you get home from school
  • before you go to bed.

How to blow your nose:

  1. breathe in through your mouth
  2. close your lips tightly
  3. blow out firmly into your tissue.
