Services we provide
The Otago and Southern Cardiothoracic surgery service is 1 of 5 national centres for adult cardiac and thoracic surgery.
Outpatient clinics are done at both Dunedin and Southland hospitals, while cardiothoracic surgery takes place at Dunedin Hospital.
We also have a cardiothoracic clinic at Lakes District Hospital in Queenstown.
Some of the procedures we perform include:
- coronary artery bypass surgery
- heart valve surgery
- aortic aneurysm repair.
