Doctor services online or over the phone often have appointments available on the same day. You do not need to be enrolled to use some of them. They are a good option if your usual doctor or nurse cannot fit you in. There will be a cost.

Wi-Fi and free internet access
To use the free Wi-Fi service:
- When you turn on your Wi-Fi on your mobile device or laptop computer, select “DHB Public Wi-Fi” from the list of options.
- Your device should automatically open a web page where you can accept the terms and conditions.

Visitor rules and tips
You should not come to our facilities as a visitor or support person if you are unwell. We encourage you to:
- wear a surgical or medical mask when visiting
- clean your hands with the alcohol-based hand gel we provide.
Patients can have more than one visitor except in some situations, for example rooms with more than one patient where it can cause overcrowding.
Smokefree
All of our facilities are smoke and vape free. If you are a patient we encourage you to discuss quitting smoking with your doctor or nurse.
