Services we provide

The colposcopy department provides:

  • colposcopy assessment
  • treatment of abnormal cervical cells
  • post-treatment follow up.

Treatments are done under local or general anaesthetic on an outpatient basis — you will not need to stay in the hospital. New patients have a 30 minute appointment. Follow up patients have a 15 minute appointment. We run around 10 colposcopy clinics a week.

You are welcome to bring a support person to your appointment.
