Senior doctors and dentists at Health NZ public hospitals and health services plan to strike for 48 hours on Tuesday 23 September and Wednesday 24 September. Emergency departments will be open for emergencies only. GPs, after-hours and urgent care clinics, and other community health providers are not affected by the strike and will continue to operate as normal.

Services we provide
We see people between 12 and 65 years old who have a moderate to severe eating disorder.
Working in partnership with whānau is encouraged at all stages of treatment. Family based treatment requires active involvement of whānau throughout treatment. Most treatment is provided in outpatients but inpatient care is provided when appropriate.
Our team includes:
- consultant psychiatrists
- nurses
- clinical psychologists
- occupational therapists
- social workers
- a family therapist
- dietitians
- a general medicine physician
- a physiotherapist
- a pukenga atawhai (specialist Māori mental health worker)
- a secretary.
We are a teaching hospital so you may be asked if health professional students can take part in your care.
